The first whisky from the Distillerie du Vercors, SEQUOIA Single Malt whisky has been aged for 3 years in oak casks in the gentle atmosphere of an old silkworm farm. Distilled at 50°C in a low pressure still designed by the distiller himself, it is produced from organically grown malted barley.
Tasting
Nose: Subtle cocktail of dried flowers, sweet spices and acacia honey. After shaking, notes of fresh bread and precious wood appear.
Appearance: A straw yellow colour with subtle golden highlights.
Palate: A very well-balanced palate between structure, smoothness and aromatic profile. After a few minutes of airing, the scents of dried flowers compete with the flavours of fresh bread and honey.
Finish: An aromatic finish that stretches out over a long period of time and seduces with its mineral and tonic accents.
