Veuve du Vernay Ice Brut is a classic Bordeaux sparkling wine with a good portion of sweetness. It is designed to be enjoyed over ice with even coarsely chopped fruit and a garnish. It is excellent as an aperitif, but also pairs well with tapas and light dishes. Veuve du Vernay is a range of French sparkling wines owned by the house of Patriarche, a Beaune-based wine company which is in turn owned by the Castel Group conglomerate. Veuve Du Vernay wines which include Brut, Rose, Demi-Sec, Chardonnay, Ice and Ice Rose are produced in Bordeaux and exported to over forty countries worldwide.
