The "Blanc Fumé" Pouilly Fumé 2020 is a white wine produced by the Pascal Jolivet estate in the Pouilly Fumé appellation located in the Loire Valley. Timeless and complex, Pouilly Fumé is grown on a blend of 50% limestone which brings minerality and finesse, 30% flint which brings structure and 20% clay-limestone which brings fruit and richness.

Each grape is sorted at the reception of the harvest, worked by gravity in order to respect the natural circuit of the wine making. Each soil is vinified separately in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, the limestone brings minerality and finesse; the clay-limestone brings fruit and richness and the flint brings structure and minerality.

Palate: The 2020 vintage, masculine, fresh, chiselled, is a great Pouilly Fumé, with notes of citrus fruits and apples.
Nose: Full and round, this signature vintage surprises with its freshness.

Terroir : Plot selection of our estate, 100% clay-limestone. "Terres Blanches" is the name given to the Kimmeridgian marls. Village of Boisgibault.

Vinification: Hand-picked, south-facing slopes. Each grape is sorted at the reception of the harvest, the work is done by gravity in order to respect the natural circuit of the wine making. A light press is made and the free-run juice and the heart of the press are kept. Natural vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats and maturing for 8 months on fine lees.
