Red Wine - GABRIEL MEFFRE Laurus Chateauneuf du Pape - 14,5% - 75cl
The colour of this Châteauneuf du Pape Laurus is red with slightly tiled highlights. On the nose, this Châteauneuf presents aromas of cooked and jammy fruit, and crème de cassis. On the palate there are notes of sweet spices, the structure is beautiful, brought by the Grenaches of the terraces and the Syrahs, on cooler soils, bring subtlety and finesse to the finish.
This Gabriel Meffre wine is composed of 65% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 75% of the wines are aged in wood for 15 months before final blending. The vines are 30 years old on average and the Grenache are over 80 years old.
