This less expensive drill bit is designed for drilling holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, gray iron, sintered steel, malleable iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics. It has a cylindrical shank system (shank diameter equal to drill diameter) and is intended for use with drill stands and drill/ drivers. The HSS-G Twist drill is manufactured in accordance with DIN 338 . Type N (helix angle), it has a 135 degree drill point and a h8 diameter tolerance.
