EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Select extensions of different lengths.

Once you have chosen a base length and thickness, choose individual lashes that vary slightly in length. Subtle variation will give you a more natural look. Three slightly different sizes of lashes should suffice. The shorter extensions will be used to fill in the gaps between the lashes and avoid an unnatural, dense result.

Buy an eyelash extension kit.

If you intend to apply the extensions yourself, buy a kit from a beauty shop. This will contain lashes of different sizes (usually short, medium and long), as well as all the tools needed for application: tweezers, glue, glue remover and an eyelash brush. If you've never applied extensions before, buying a kit will make the job much easier.

Every kit is different. Read and follow the instructions on your kit carefully. Read the list of ingredients in the glue. Make sure it does not contain formaldehyde.
