Modern Warfare® III celebrates the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty® with the largest collection of multiplayer maps ever assembled, featuring both fan favourites and brand new maps. The 16 launch maps from Modern Warfare® 2 (2009) have been updated with new game modes and features and will be available at launch. In addition, more than 12 new 6v6 maps will advance into the season after launch.
Modern Warfare III also includes new Ground War maps with innovative play spaces and an epic return and evolution of Popular Warfare mode, which debuted in Call of Duty® 2017: WWII.
